HPCL begins door to door delivery of diesel in J&K

1st mobile dispenser in J&K launched

Jammu: As a major step aimed at providing diesel fuel at the doorstep of industrial and commercial consumers, theMaharatna Oil marketing company launched its First Mobile Dispenser for Door to Door Delivery of Diesel in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

The initiative, which will be a major relief for these consumers in terms of convenience and cost, is part noval concept of the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas to deliver HSD to the door steps of customers by engaging Start-ups as per policy of the Government of India’s Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) for engaging new entrepreneurs in innovative business solutions.

The first Mobile Dispenser service belonging to startup M/s D-UEL Fuels Sales and Distributions was flagged off at HPCL POL Depot Jammu by Sh Prince Singh- Chief Regional Manager HPCL J&K Retail Regional Office and Sh A.A Gilani- Sr Depot Manager HPCL POL Depot. The Mobile Dispenser was loaded from HPCL depot in Jammu.The program was attended by Senior Management of HPCL through Video Conference and all the officers of J&K Retail Regional Office and Jammu POL Depot.

In the program, Chief Regional Manager and the senior Management of HPCL stressed upon the importance of evolution in technology and its impact on the fuel business, making it more convenient and transparent for all the customers.

With many such dispensers planned for deployment in near future HPCL is going to take the refueling service to a new level which coupled with digital technologies it is not only going to meet the fuel demands of the industrial set up in J&K in a novel way but also create fresh opportunities for new entrepreneurs in the UT of J&K.
