Load carrier leaves without unloading oxygen plant at Doda following dispute over unloading charges

Jammu: Strange it may sound, but a heavy load carrier (tralla) carrying an oxygen plant left the premises of Government Medical College, Doda, after remaining stationed there for two days following a dispute over payment of charges for unloading the machinery.
Sources said that the heavy load carrier carrying oxygen plant had reached Doda from Delhi on April 21. As some cranes were required to unload it, the dispute arose as to who will pay for their hiring charges.
Sources said that the local officials asked the driver of the tralla to pay for it, but the latter refused saying that they shall talk to his employer.
Following this dispute, the tralla carrying the oxygen plant remained stationed there for another two days, with local officials undecided over the payment of unloading charges of the equipment.
Finally, on the night of April 23, the driver left Doda without unloading the oxygen plant.
The officials when came to know about it next day brought the matter to the notice of the Deputy Commissioner, Doda, who in turn took up the matter with Divisional Commissioner, Jammu as well.
The police was alerted against movement of the tralla from Doda, but by that time it had reportedly crossed Lakhanpur and entered Punjab.
The administration has lodged an FIR against the tralla driver at Doda Police Station.
