Budgam: In a tragic incident, one female tourist dies while another was injured when they slipped in Nallah Shaliganga on Monday while taking selfies at Doodhpathri tourist spot area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
Quoting sources, a local news agency identified the tourists as Arohi Morya and Anmol Singh, daughters of Ramesh Singh, both residents of Lucknow Uttar Pradesh.
After slipping into the nallah, while Arohi Morya died, her sister sustained injuries and she was shifted to nearby hospital for treatment. Her condition was stated to be stable till last reports came in.
Meanwhile police has taken cognizance of the incident and started investigation to ascertain the cause of the incident.
