JAMMU, OCTOBER 4: In a shocking incident, Director General of Police, Prisons, Hemant Kunar Lohia was late Monday night found dead under suspicious circumstances at a house in Udaywala area on the outskirts of Jammu city.
Sources said, adding that it appeared to be a case of suspected murder as his throat was slit with a sharp edged weapon. The domestic help with him is absconding, they said, adding the police have launched searches for him.
Forensic teams and crime teams are on spot. Investigation process has begun. Senior officers are on spot.
According to Additional Director General of Police for Jammu, Mukesh Singh, “first examination rst Examination of the scene of crime reveals this as a suspected murder case”.
