Jammu : During the “Swachhta Pakhwadas” Jawans and officers of 166 BN, CRPF participated enthusiastically in the cleanliness campaign and spreading awareness regarding cleanliness.
During Swachhta Pakhwada, under the guidance of Hargyan Singh Gurjar, Commandant, 166 BN, CRPF, a cleanliness campaign was conducted in Majeen village located near the camp premises and a cleanliness awareness rally was also organized among the residents of Sidhra area.
During this period, other activities like special cleanliness drive, tree plantation programme, painting competition among children and group discussion on cleanliness were also organized in the camp premises located in Sidhra and Banihal. On the occasion of closing of Swachhta Pakhwada, prizes were distributed and Appreciation letters were also distributed to the children and force members who participated in the painting competition and group discussion and other activities. Naveen Kumar Yadav, Second in Command, Sangeeta Chauhan, Deputy Commandant and Neeraj Kumar Jha, Deputy Commandant were also present in this Pakhwada.
