Mumbai | On Centre telling Supreme Court that J&K elections can take place anytime, National Conference Vice President Omar Abdullah says, “Even after four years, the Govt of India is not ready to give a timeline. On the one hand, they say that the situation is normal, they show you G20 and Miss World but on the other hand, they say that the situation is not conducive to make this (J&K) a state. So, there is a difference between their words and actions. As far as the elections are concerned, kindly make a decision…We didn’t approach the Supreme Court for election or anything else. We approached it against the abrogation of Article 370. We don’t have to do much with anything else. We are waiting for a decision on Article 370.”
