MeT forecast rains, snowfall in next 24 hours

Jammu, December 11: Meteorological Department on Friday forecast moderate rain in the plains and snow over higher reaches  of J&K and Kargil district of Ladakh, most likely tonight.

Some places especially Zojila, Gulmarg, Zanskar etc., are most likely to receive heavy snowfall, it said, adding that rhereafter, no major snowfall is expected till December 20.
