Centre postpones net, Closes ASI controlled protected sites, museums till further orders

Jammu: UT administration on Thursday ordered closure of all schools and coaching centres across Jammu and Kashmir till April 30.
The decision to close schools including class XII and coaching centres for more days has been taken in view of the spike in COVID-19 cases across the UT. Earlier, the administration had ordered closure of schools till April 18.
Meanwhile, the Central Government also decided to postpone the national eligibility cum entrance test-Post Graduate exams.
The exam was earlier scheduled to be held on April 18.
The next date for the exam will be decided later, said Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan.
The Central government also ordered closure of all the Centrally protected monuments/sites and museums under Archaeological Survey of India till May 15, or until further orders, according to Inion Monister of State for Culture & Tourism, Prahlad Singh Patel.
