Major Terrorists Plan Foiled Again, 19 grenades seized from a hideout in Poonch

Poonch: In a major success in their anti-terror operations, Security Forces and Jammu & Kashmir Police on Sunday busted a militant hideout and recovered 19 hand grenades from there.

The joint operation followed a specific input that terrorists were planning to target security forces on NH 144A. To foil the nefarious designs of inimical elements to disrupt peace and tranquility in Poonch region, a well coordinated joint operation was launched by Indian Army, Rashtriya Rifles and JKP. 

Relentless development of intelligence by both the agencies led to recovery of a huge cache of grenades in general area Phagla hidden in a well concealed natural hideout. 

A total of 19 hand grenades have been recovered. 

This busting of hideout has averted a likely major plan of attack on security forces. The  security forces and JKP operating together against terrorism and their commitment towards stability in the region.
