J&K registers highest ever 65 Covid related deaths in a day

Jammu: With 65 people losing battle against COVID-19, the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday reported its highest Covid related deaths in a day since the beginning of the pandemic.

Of these, while 41 deaths were reported from Jammu division, the death toll in Kashmir was. With this, the total death toll in the UT rose to 2847. 

Apart from, the UT also reported 4352 fresh covid-19 cases including 1708 in Jammu division and 2644 in Kashmir Valley.

With this, the UT had a total of 224898 COVID positive cases. Of them, a total 171350 people have recovered and discharged from hospitals.
