Jammu: Panic erupted in Nud area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Samba district on the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday after someone threw a grenade towards Nud Police Post.
Pointing out that the attack took place around 9.45 pm, sources said that initially police personnel at the police post took the explosion as bursting of the tyre of some vehicle.

However, when they started looking for the vehicle in the area around police post, they found pieces of a hand grenade.
Pointing out that no one was hurt as grenade fell on the roadside, sources said that senior police officers have reached the spot. Searches are going on the area.
