Heroin, 4 Pistols, 10 Grenades, Cash, besides a Truck, Verna Car and a Scooty Seized

Srinagar: Jammu Kashmir Police have arrested 12 people and recovered 11 packets of heroin, arms and ammunition besides cash in Baramulla district of North Kashmir.

Pointing out that the arrested people were part of a narco-militant module, a Kashmiri based news agency quoting a police official said that 10 grenades, 4 pistols along with as many magazines and 20 rounds were recovered from them.

This is apart from 11 packets of heroin, and cash worth Rs 21.5 lakhs besides cheque amounting to Rs one lakh seized from them, the official said.

The police also seized one truck, a verna vehicle and a scooty in connection with case.
