Investigations into Air Force Station attack handed over to NIA
Jammu: A drone was spotted again on Tuesday morning in Ratuchak, Kaluchak and Kunjwani areas thrice.
The spotting of drone in these areas came a day after army troops thwarted a terror plan to target military installations by drones in Kaluchak-Ratnuchak areas during wee hours of Monday.
Sources said that the drone was sighted thrice between 1 am to 4 am on Tuesday. The security forces and police are on high alert and seachi g nearby areas.
Meanwhile, the investigations into thr air dropping of two explosive devices at Air Force Station in Jammu during wee hours of Subday have been handed over to NIA.
A high level NIA team will reach here from Delhi shortly to assist the local officials. This has been done in view of the serious nature of the case.
The roof of a building was damaged and two persons sustained minor injuries in the explosions.
Meanwhile, high alert has been sounded in Jammu in view of the repeated sighting of drones.
