Minor girl rescued by State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) personnel and Udhampur Police after she was caught in a flash flood in the middle of swollen Tawi river in Darsoo area of Udhampur district.

After receiving the information about the minor girl getting caught in flash flood, SDRF component as well as our Jammu & Kashmir Police swung into action. She was safely evacuated after an hour-long rescue operation: Sargun Shukla, SSP, Udhampur
