Sale of Nylon manja for kite flying banned in Jammu

Jammu: District Magistrate, Jammu, Anshul Garg on Wednesday banned the sale of plastic/nylon thread (MANJA) used for kite flying in Jammu district.

The ban order was issued under provisions of Section 144 of CrPC.

The violation of the order shall invite punishment in accordance with the provisions of Section 188 of IPC, he added.
