Police recovers 50 missing mobiles, returns them to their rightful owners in Poonch

POONCH, NOVEMBER 11: Cyber Cell of the Jammu and Kashmir Police in border Poonch district recovered 50 mobile phones which had been lost by their owners over a period of time.

These phones were on Thursday handed over to their owners by Poonch SSP Dr. Vinod Kumar at a function here. The district police chief on the occasion appealed people to take utmost care of their mobile phones as these contain their vital personal data and there is every possibility of its misuse by unscrupulous elements.

He said that whenever a complaint comes about the loss of his mobile phone in the district, it is straightway sent to the cyber cell of police at Poonch. The cyber experts with the use of technology recover these phones, he added.

The police in Poonch under the supervision of DySP Manish Sharma have traced out 130 missing mobile phones during the current year.
