NIA visits the site of bus fire to inspect damaged vehicle
SRINAGAR, MAY 15: J&K BJP president Ravinder Raina on Sunday said that the bus, which caught fire near Katra resulting into the death of four people and injuries to 22 others, seem to have been hit was a “sticky bomb’’.
Talking to media persons after meeting the UT’s Lt Governor Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhawan in Srinagar, he said that the investigations by National Investigation Agency are suggesting that the bus fire had been caused by an explosion caused by a sticky bomb. Pakistan is conspiring against people of Jammu and Kashmir at a big scale, he added.
Our army troops, Jmmu Kashmir Police and para military forces will foil this conspiracy, he said and appealed people for fight against such evil designs of Pakisan. It will try to divide people in the name of religion, regions and but we fight against Pakistan’s mechanizations and propaganda and will not allow it to succeed.
On Saturday, a team of NIA had visited Kharmal near Katra to inspect the passenger bus that was gutted in fire under mysterious circumstances on Friday. Later in a tweet, it said that “NIA has extended all requisite assistance to JK Police in the investigation of the case of passenger bus catching fire near Katra on Friday. Detailed forensic probe is continuing to identify the reasons for the cause of fire’’.
