UT Govt May post all PM package employees at safe places in Kashmir

SRINAGAR, MAY 15: in an indication that J&K Government May post all PM package employees working in Kashmir at safe places, UT BJP president Ravinder Raina here on Sunday claimed that the UT government was going to take some “big decision” regarding safety and security of migrant Kashmiri Pandit employees working in Kashmir Valley.

Raina, who along with a delegation of party leaders met Lt Governor Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhawan here, later told media persons that “Lt Governor has assured some big decision about Kashmiri Pandit employees in next 10 days”. He, however, did not elaborate it, but added that they were convened over safety and security of migrant Kashmiri Pandit employees posted in the Valley under PM package.

Meanwhile, a delegation of PAGD leaders comprising Farooq Abdullah, Mehbooba Mufti, CPI (M) MY Tarigami, NC MP Hasnain Masoodi and Awami National Conference senior vice president Muzaffar Shah also met the Lt Governor over the issue of security of Kashmiri Pandit employees.

The LG assured the delegation that necessary action are being taken by the administration for safety and security of PM package employees. The delegatioN also raised the issue of innocent killings in the Valley.

Lt Governor, Manoj Sinha informed the delegation that the security forces have been given full freedom to avenge the killing of innocents. He said that those aiding and abetting terrorists will not be spared. 
He also said that all PM package employees will be shifted to secure district and Tehsil headquarters and to address other issues, a special cell has been constituted in LG secretariat.

Lt Governor also said that all parties arewelcome to give their suggestions on issues of targeted killing, eliminating terrorism, terror ecosystem, development, issues concerning youth etc. ” My doors are always open for people. All sections of polity and society must come together as a united front to eliminate terror ecosystem, Lt Governor, Manoj Sinha Said.
