JKAS officer suspended for making derogatory remarks against other religion

JAMMU, SEPTEMBER 7:Β A Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Services (JKAS) officer posted in border Rajouri district has been placed under suspension for allegedly using derogatory remarks against a particular religion.

Identifying him as Assistant Commissioner Panchayats, Abdul Rashid Kohli, the suspension order issued by Rajouri Deputy Commissioner Vikas Kundal said β€œthis conduct of the officer is not only the violation of service conduct rules, but also an issue of hurting the religious sentiments of other community and has the potential of creating law and order within the district”.
