Kupwara, November 18: An army soldier was killed and two others injured after an avalanche hit army post in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

Identifying the deceased as Nikhil Sharma, sources said that three soldiers were initially injured after being hit by a snow avalanche in Tangdar sector on Wednesday morning. The injured soldiers were rushed to Kupwara hospital where one of them succumbed to his injures.
